Sasa grew up in a humble Auckland state house, witnessing his mother juggle three jobs to support the family, which fuelled his drive to create a better life for him and his family. At 15, he moved to Australia with rugby as his main focus, eventually playing professionally in Europe and New Zealand. After facing setbacks, he returned to New Zealand and worked as a teacher-aide at Kings, where he gained motivation and valuable connections In 2020, he joined his brother Xavier, a successful agent in South Auckland at the time. Now as a top agent himself, Sasa is grateful for the opportunities that have come his way.
